Back in time as Britain emerges out of the Dark

Ages into the splendour of Medieval times. Follow the timeline from Saxons, Vikings and Danes through the Normans to the Period of the Wars of the Roses when the House of Lancaster fought the House of York. See the historical re-enactment of these times as swords and shields clash and men struggle for survival, trace the history from the bow to the early cannon, see the living history of encampments with people living everyday medieval lives. All at Harewood House Medieval Faire 2012.


